Diamond polishing pad is the collective name of diamond water polishing pad and dry polishing pad. Diamond water abrasive pads are also called diamond soft abrasive pads. It is a flexible processing tool made of diamond as abrasive and combined with composite materials. There are Velcro cloth and Velcro on the back, which can be used to polish the connection part of the polisher. It can be used for special-shaped processing of materials such as stone, ceramics, glass, and floor tiles. It is suitable for stone polishing, line chamfering, curved board, special-shaped stone processing. It can also be used for the repair and renovation of marble, mixed special-shaped processing, concrete, cement floor, terrazzo, glass-ceramics, and artificial stone. Stone, floor tiles, glazed tiles, vitrified tiles, strong grinding power, durable, softness, clarity and gloss, are ideal stone grinding tools. The whole process is divided into four stages: rough grinding, fine grinding, fine grinding and polishing. The gloss of the processed stone is above 90°, diamond abrasive cloth,

Today, the diamond abrasive belt manufacturer will give you a detailed introduction to the application of diamond grinding discs in the overall stone grinding and renovation industry.

1. Classification of diamond grinding blocks (blocks)

There are two types of diamond abrasive blocks (sheets): metal bond abrasive blocks and resin bond abrasive blocks. The metal bond abrasive block (sheet) is made of steel powder, slurry, nickel powder, cobalt powder, tin powder and other metal powders and diamond powder sintered under constant temperature and pressure.

Resin bond abrasive blocks (sheets) are made of phenolic resin, polyimide resin, epoxy resin, diamond powder and other auxiliary materials under constant or normal temperature, using well-known thermosetting curing.

2. The main points of diamond grinding blocks (sheets)

It has the characteristics of long life, fast grinding speed, large force, high processing brightness and so on. It is a widely used grinding tool.

3. The application of diamond grinding blocks (pieces) in the overall stone grinding and renovation industry

The commonly used particle sizes are 30#, 50#, 100#, 200#, 400#, 600#, 800#, 1000#, 1500#, 3000#, etc. Generally, from coarse to fine, choose grinding and polishing one by one. According to the requirements of different stones, the various raw materials in diamond grinding blocks (sheets) are also different, such as the content of diamond powder (also called tension) and the difference in its auxiliary materials, combined together, usually called formulas.

The particle size of metal bond abrasive blocks (sheets) is generally 30#, 50#, 100#, which are often used for rough grinding or trimming, with fast speed, but deep wear marks. In general use, the mechanical pressure should not be too high, and the pushing speed should not be too fast.

The particle size of the resin bond abrasive block (chip) is generally 50#, 100#, 200#, 400#, 800#, 1500#, 3000#, 5000# or higher, which can be selected according to different polishing requirements. After the general resin bond abrasive block is ground, the wear marks are relatively smooth and easy to shine.

According to the classification of stone, diamond grinding blocks (sheets) can be divided into granite grinding blocks (sheets) and marble grinding blocks (sheets). Generally speaking, marble grinding blocks (sheets) are easier to grind and polish. Granite grinding blocks (chips) are difficult to grind and polish due to their high hardness. There are also some special stones, such as black series stones, which are easy to fade; red granite (such as Indian red, South African red, etc.) is not easy to polish; some large green gems, elegant white series and golden series are difficult to polish. For these gems, a specific abrasive block (sheet) should be selected for polishing to achieve the ideal polishing effect.

Diamond grinding blocks (sheets) can be divided into flexible grinding blocks (sheets) and rigid grinding blocks (sheets). According to different grinding and polishing needs, it is generally recommended that the overall stone be polished below 400#, such as 30#, 50#, 100#, 200#, 400# using rigid grinding discs (ie hard grinding discs), 600#, 800#, 1000#, 1500#, 2000#, 3000# use flexible grinding discs. In this way, the flatness of the stone can be very good, and a good polishing effect can be achieved.

Mechanical speed and pressure: used for polishing, not suitable for 800#, 1500#, 2000#, 3000# and other mesh grinding discs. The higher the mechanical speed, the better the polishing effect, the faster the glazing speed, and the greater the corresponding pressure. Increase it.

Water volume control: The higher the polishing mesh, the smaller the water volume. The polishing mesh of 1500#, 3000# and above is almost dry polishing, which makes the surface of the stone heat, and the polishing effect can be significantly improved.Diamond abrasive belt
